Welcome to the Tritons!The New York Tritons is a gay and lesbian triathlon team based in New York City. We include members at every level of multisport training and racing from beginner to veteran ... duathletes, triathletes, short course specialists to long-distance junkies and everything in between.
Since we got started in 1997, Tritons have been sighted at races all over the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Team members help each other train hard, train smart and have a great time reaching our goals, and provide a supportive environment for each other as gay and lesbian athletes within the sport of triathlon. While our primary focus is the LGBT community, our membership is open to everyone who is interested in training and racing with us. If you're interested in multisport -- duathlon, triathlon or adventure racing -- either as an individual or as part of a relay team, give the Tritons a try!
