Weekday training rides happen at the following places and times:
Central Park: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 am; meet at the 110th Street entrance at Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard. Generally speaking, Tuesday mornings are recovery pace rides and Thursdays are higher intensity including hill repeats and high-cadence sprinting. Ride contact is Les Jones.
Prospect Park: Tuesdays at 5:45 am (and occasional Fridays at 6:00 AM); meet at the 3rd Street entrance. Generally speaking, Tuesday mornings are often recovery rides, but this varies; please check our list serv for details. Ride contact is Claudia Cummings.
All levels of rider are welcome at Tritons workouts. Helmets are always required for Tritons rides – no helmet, no ride. We also recommend bringing a spare tube and pump, water, snacks and a metrocard. If it is dark when you are beginning or ending your ride, please also consider using lights on your bike and wearing light-colored and/or reflective clothing for greater visibilty.
